Amherst Financial Group, a full-service Registered Investment Advisory firm located in Historic Amherst Village, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Manager to support our advisory team and help deliver an exceptional client experience. We provide comprehensive financial guidance to individuals, families, and small businesses, with a focus on objective advice, long-term planning, and personalized service.
About the Role
This is a full-time, in-person position based at our office at 8 Main Street in Amherst, NH. The Office Manager will play a central role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, coordinating client interactions, supporting administrative workflows, and helping the firm maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day office administration, scheduling, calendars, and appointment coordination.
· Greet clients, answer calls and emails, and provide responsive, professional client service.
· Prepare and organize client meeting materials, reports, proposals, and follow-up items.
· Maintain accurate client records, support data entry, and assist with opening client accounts.
· Coordinate internal workflows, deadlines, and documentation in a small-office environment.
· Support marketing initiatives, client communications, and other firm projects as needed.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance, investment management, tax preparation, estate planning, mortgages, financial services, or a related professional services environment.
· Strong computer skills, communication skills, and comfort working with client information and office systems.
· Excellent attention to detail, reliability, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Insurance license, mortgage loan originator license, Series 65/66 securities license, or similar credential preferred but not required.
· Prior experience in a small-office setting and a client-facing role is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary range is $50,000 to $75,000, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance; professional development assistance; and a retirement plan. Additional bonus compensation may be available for candidates who are properly licensed.
