Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and automotive systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across our fleet and equipment assets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on heavy equipment.
- Conduct repairs on transmissions, hydraulic systems, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs and equipment assembly tasks.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete maintenance logs, and update schematics to track repairs and scheduled upkeep.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive electrical systems repair and automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire service, wheel alignment, air brake inspections, HVAC servicing, and diesel engine repairs.
- Support welding projects for equipment repair or fabrication needs in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance.
Experience
- Proven experience working with dealership or industrial equipment repair is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment mechanics.
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues effectively.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance for truck drivers or service technician roles is advantageous.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical system repair combined with mechanical expertise enhances troubleshooting capabilities.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
