Duties
- Deliver engaging lectures and seminars on topics such as biblical studies, theology, biblical languages (e.g., Greek, Hebrew), Christian counseling, and religious education.
- Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with current theological scholarship and educational standards.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or similar platforms to facilitate online courses and resource sharing.
- Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes across both virtual and in-person classes.
- Mentor students through academic advising, providing guidance on research projects, papers, and theological inquiries.
- Conduct research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals to contribute to the broader academic community.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on curriculum development initiatives and participate in faculty meetings or training sessions related to higher education pedagogy and technology integration.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Bible, theology, biblical languages (e.g., Greek, Hebrew), or Christian education with relevant academic credentials.
- Proven ability to teach effectively using online training platforms such as Blackboard or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, and integrating educational technology into teaching practices.
- Strong research background with publications in peer-reviewed journals; experience with scholarly writing is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations of varying ages and backgrounds.
