Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in Middle - High school education settings, and will be committed to promoting math skills, and overall childhood development. This role involves assisting providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Support students in math education through one-on-one or small group instruction.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide care and supervision for middle and high schoolers during classroom activities and transitions.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum materials tailored to individual student needs.
- Engage with students to promote social skills and emotional development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff regarding student progress and needs.
Skills
- Understanding of special education practices and strategies.
- Knowledge of childhood education principles and childhood development theories.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies for working with children
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
