Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring quality standards are met
- Support front-of-house operations by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent guest service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and managing reservations using platforms like OpenTable
- Help with catering and banquet setups, ensuring timely and efficient service during events
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards through proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Support delivery drivers with order organization and pickup coordination when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to engage effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or hospitality roles enhances your fit for this position
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
