Lead Temporary Fence Installer

Position Summary
Resource Rental Center is seeking an experienced Lead Temporary Fence Installer to join our growing Temporary Fence Division. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for installing and removing temporary fencing on commercial construction projects throughout the Omaha and Council Bluffs metro area.
As the lead installer on site, you'll set the pace for the crew, maintain high standards for safety and quality, and ensure each project is completed efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities
- Install and remove temporary fencing on commercial construction sites.
- Lead by example while maintaining a safe, productive, and professional job site.
- Coordinate daily field activities and keep projects on schedule.
- Load, unload, and transport fencing materials and equipment.
- Perform daily inspections of company trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Read site layouts and accurately document fence quantities, changes, and field notes.
- Communicate professionally with general contractors, superintendents, and customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly secure equipment at the end of each day.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Commercial construction experience preferred.
- Experience in fencing, construction, or a related skilled trade required.
- Temporary fence installation experience is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead by example.
- Strong work ethic with a reputation for reliability and accountability.
- Ability to solve problems in the field and adapt to changing job site conditions.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience towing trailers and operating work trucks is preferred.
- Forklift, skid loader, or telehandler experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position regularly requires:
- Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical activity.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Standing and walking for extended periods on active construction sites.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Typical daytime hours
- Occasional overtime based on project demands
- Steady, year-round commercial construction work
