Requirements:
Seeking degree in a child related field is preferred
1500 hours or 3 credit hours of Experience in Childcare setting
CPR/First Aid Certified
Passionate, Flexible, Reliable, Organized, & Respectful
Excellent Communication Skills
Lift up to 40 lbs and be able to get up and down to work with children
18+ years old is preferred, but we can make adjustments
Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing Developmentally Appropriate lesson plans
Be able to take direction from the head teacher
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
Meet the cognitive, social, physical, and emotional needs of each individual child
Communicate to parents, children, and co-workers
Build strong relationships with parents, children, and co-workers
Participate in state regulated training
Follow all policies of the center and DHHS
Positive attitude and energy
Positions start at $15.00/hour and depends on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
