Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Caregiver / Med Passer, where your compassion and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home and community care settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for those you serve. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support seniors and individuals with disabilities while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Must be 18 years old or older.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Monitor residents’ vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
- Support residents during meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition and hydration
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility needs
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to uphold health standards and promote a welcoming environment
- Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility policies and state regulations
- Engage in ongoing training related to first aid, emergency response, and best caregiving practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly valued
- Ability to assist with ADLs using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach to resident care
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
