QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)
- Current registration as an AMFT or ACSW in the State of California
- Experience in the following areas: psychosocial assessment, diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM, individual therapy. group therapy, crisis intervention
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to navigate an electronic medical record and utilize technology effectively.
- Criminal background check and clearance

POSITION DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Provide diagnostic mental health assessments to patients under supervision.
- Provide crisis intervention and case management support to assigned patients.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans, monitor treatment progress, and follow-up as clinically indicated with supervisory oversight.
- Provide clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual and group therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Facilitate the coordination of medication needs of patients with psychiatric, case management, and medical resources.
- Work closely with consulting psychiatrist on complex patient cases.
- Work to meet patient needs effectively and resolve individual barriers through follow-up and collaboration with KCS staff and other providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with agency standards.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and applicable compliance and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, mandated reporting, and other federal, state and local regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization.
This is a Part- time, non-exempt position
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
