We are seeking a talented and passionate Execurtive and Sous Chef to join our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining and catering, showcasing exceptional culinary skills and a strong understanding of food production processes. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate on menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and kitchen maintenance.
- Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals.
