Overview:
We are seeking an experienced dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team working tuesday-saturday evenings. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for the food industry and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team. Pay is based on experience.
Duties:
-working the pizza/salad line, preparing salads, appetizers, hoagies, pizzas
-answer phones and take orders for take out, check out take out customers etc.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils
- Adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
-Willing to work every evening tue-sat and some daylight days if needed
-Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Strong knife skills for food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
