Position: Kennel Attendant
Location: Evansville, IN 47715
Type: Part-Time
Shift Options:
6 AM - 12 PM
12 PM - 6 PM
8 AM - 4 PM
6 PM - 10 PM (Cleaning only)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the well-being and comfort of dogs in our care
- Clean and maintain kennel areas to uphold our high standards of cleanliness
- Follow feeding instructions for each dog and ensure fresh water is always available
- Supervise group playtime, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment
- Administer medications as instructed by pet owners
- Provide support in grooming, boarding, and daycare services
- Assist in checking-in and checking-out dogs, maintaining accurate records
- Interact with pet parents for check-ins, check-outs when needed
Requirements:
- Passion for working with dogs and providing excellent care
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to guidelines
- Excellent communication skills with both team members and clients
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
- Flexibility with scheduling, including early mornings
