What You’ll Do
Responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding material handling equipment according to shop drawings and verbal instructions. This role requires meeting production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship. The ideal candidate will consistently follow all company expectations and adhere strictly to safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with Safety Policies and Standards and company policies.
- Perform timely company inspections i.e.) crane, rigging, hoists, etc.
- Assembly, Fabrication and Processing of sheet metal products based on prints provided or verbal communication.
- Weld components on material handling equipment per drawings and becoming qualified on welds used in MMF’s Welding Specification Process.
- Maintain a prominent level of professionalism in your communication, actions, and attitude.
- Effectively meet deadlines and the manufacturing schedule.
- Take part in shop cleanliness and organization.
- Continuous improvement of material and work center flow.
- Time Clocking in and out within the company ERP system.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
- Apply practical application of shop mathematics.
- Load and Unload Product via overhead cranes.
- Able to lift 50lb continuously. 75lb occasionally.
Required Qualifications:
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong math skills (addition, geometry, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Working knowledge to operate hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Familiar with blueprint reading
- Effective communication skills
- Welding and Assembly experience required.
- 3+ years of combined welding and assembly experience,
- Must be detail oriented and organized

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
