The Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of one or more houses. They are to ensure the staff at their houses are providing direct care services and upholding the quality of care and programming provided to service recipients in accordance with the Coordinated Care Service and Support Plan and Addendums. Direct and support the implementation of behavioral modification techniques to residents. Follow directives from the treatment and provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team. Coordinates and assists in daily activities of residents. Prepare and complete quarterly reports and documentation as assigned. Work in ratio when needed.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uphold the quality of care and programming to residents.
- Ensure proper Company policies and procedures and requirements are implemented.
- Serve in accordance to the Vulnerable Adult Law, and all DHS 245D statues.
- Consult/discipline reporting employees as needed with the involvement of Human Resources.
- Coordinate and follow through with scheduled medical and psychiatric appointments.
- Ensure proper implementation of CSSP, CSSP Addendums and service and behavioral plan(s) for individual resident(s).
- Coordinate and maintain resident to direct care staff ratio(s).
- Ensure the staff is adhering to proper time keeping procedures including meal breaks and accurate documentations of time cards and daily hours logs.
- Coordinate and approve of any staff schedule changes to prevent and minimize any overtime with the involvement of Human Resources.
- Supervise all reporting employees and their work performance.
- Train all staff and ensure staff are current on required trainings and stay in compliance with 245D statues and Mental Health certification.
- Directly counsel residents using appropriate behavior modification techniques.
- Supervise and monitor service recipients in regards to safety, following applicable policies and standards.
- Assist in resident transportation with company vehicles and/or other necessary forms.
- Complete regular documentation and reports.
- Assist primary care team to treat and manage residents with chronic emotional and/or health problems efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in the detection of at-risk residents and implement instructed practices and procedures.
- Oversee designated worksites are safe and maintained.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned and instructed.
- Attend and participate in meetings and quality improvement activities as required.
- Follow established procedures as directed by administration and/or supervisor.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Oversee reporting employee’s time sheets and work schedules; maintain instructed compliance.
- Conduct performance evaluations on reporting employees.
- Ensure proper safety procedures and requirements are implemented.
- Participate in and conduct meetings, as necessary.
- Ensure DHS standards and compliance with technology and remote monitoring.
- Work in ratio when necessary due to staff shortage, appointments and training.
- Scheduled Hours of Work
Monday-Friday, with some on-call hours based on established on-call schedule.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Continued education in some capacity
- Meet current federal, state, and local human services criteria
- Experience working with persons with behavioral deficits

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
