Position Summary-
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Construction Foreman to oversee daily field operations and lead construction crews on civil and site development projects.
The Foreman is responsible for
- Coordinating
- Manpower
- Equipment
- Materials
- and subcontractors while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.

- Supervise and lead construction crews on civil projects including
- Excavation
- Grading
- Utilities
- Roadwork
- Site development
- Coordinate daily job site operations
- Scheduling Workflow
Read and interpret
- Blueprints
- Site plans
- Grades
Specifications
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project requirements
Coordinate equipment
Materials, and labor needs with project management
Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safe work practices
Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, and crew members
Track daily production, progress, and job site activities
Troubleshoot field issues and adjust plans as needed to maintain project timelines
Train and mentor crew members and equipment operators
Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
Assist with hands-on work and equipment operation when necessary
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in civil construction leadership or foreman role preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices
- Underground utilities
- Grading
- Excavation
- Site work
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and grade stakes
- Experience managing crews
- Schedules
- Daily production
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor construction environments
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and job site safety practices
Preferred Skills
● Experience with GPS/machine control systems.
● Strong understanding of project sequencing and production management.
● Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment and construction tools.
● Ability to operate heavy equipment when needed.
● Experience coordinating subcontractors and inspections
Work Environment.
Full-time position
Outdoor work in varying weather and terrain conditions
Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required depending on project schedules
