We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality educational services to students receiving special education support while collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic success.
This position supports high school students in an inclusion setting and focuses on providing specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff.

Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to implement accommodations and modifications.

Participate in educational planning and student support meetings.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, district, and school regulations regarding special education services.

Active Georgia Teaching Certificate in Special Education.

Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Minimum one (1) year of teaching experience.

Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification.

Content certifications in ELA, Math/Science, or Social Studies as applicable.

Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement.

Current CPR certification, health certificate, and TB documentation if required by district or state regulations.
