Position Overview:
As a Night Porter Supervisor at FCS Facility Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the overnight operations and maintenance of assigned parking garage facilities. You will supervise night porter staff, ensure the garage remains clean, safe, and operational, and respond to facility needs throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service while ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Train, supervise, and support night porter staff. Schedule and assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure all overnight responsibilities are completed efficiently.
Facility Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of the parking garage to identify cleanliness issues, safety hazards, lighting outages, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance needs. Report and document findings as required.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all garage levels, stairwells, elevators, entrances, exits, walkways, and common areas are cleaned and maintained throughout the shift. Remove debris, spills, and other hazards promptly.
Trash Removal: Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated disposal areas following company procedures.
Pressure Washing and General Upkeep: Coordinate and perform pressure washing, sweeping, and other general maintenance duties to maintain a clean and professional appearance of the facility.
Safety and Security Monitoring: Monitor the parking facility for unsafe conditions, unauthorized activity, or security concerns. Report incidents immediately and assist with emergency response procedures when necessary.
Equipment Monitoring: Inspect cleaning equipment and facility equipment to ensure proper operation. Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Restock materials and notify management when additional supplies are needed.
Customer Service: Provide courteous assistance to customers when needed, including answering questions, reporting parking equipment issues, and directing customers appropriately.
Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in parking operations, facility maintenance, janitorial services, or a related field preferred.

Ability to identify and resolve operational and facility issues independently.

Ability to work overnight shifts with minimal supervision.

Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, lift, and perform cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the shift.
