Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour
Desired Start Date: June 1, 2026

The Field Manager serves a defined geographic area within Lower Westchester County. Success in this role comes from building strong volunteer teams, growing youth participation, and delivering high-quality Scouting programs throughout the community.

Recruit, train, and support volunteers and community leaders to deliver Scouting programs
Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local partners to grow membership
Achieve participation and revenue goals for camps, activities, and programs
Ensure all units receive consistent support through meetings, trainings, and events
Maintain strong communication with volunteers, families, and community stakeholders
Represent Scouting as a positive role model in the community

Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization
Ability to build relationships with diverse groups
Background in nonprofit work, sales, or marketing is a plus
High level of professionalism and ethical standards

College degree preferred

Must meet Scouting America leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Must be 21 years or older

Hourly position in Year 1 (starting at $25.00/hour, based on experience)
Opportunity to transition to salary in Year 2
