Full-Time Night Auditor / Guide — FOUND Hotel Santa Monica

Pay: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time overnight position. Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays.
FOUND Hotel Santa Monica is now hiring a Full-Time Night Auditor / Guide to join our team.
As a Night Auditor / Guide, you will play an important role in supporting smooth overnight hotel operations, delivering thoughtful guest service, and ensuring accurate daily financial reporting. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently overnight, and passionate about creating a welcoming guest experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet and register guests during overnight hours with warmth and professionalism.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts, reviewing transactions, and preparing reports.
- Ensure rooms, charges, payments, and services are correctly accounted for.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Answer phones with proper etiquette and assist or transfer calls as needed.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of hotel information, including room types, rates, packages, amenities, promotions, and the local area.
- Review arrivals and assist with guest recognition and welcome amenities when needed.
- Maintain accurate records related to reservations, cancellations, billing, and guest requests.
- Support hotel safety, security, confidentiality, and overnight procedures.
- Keep the guest services area clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
- Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, filing, and data entry during overnight hours.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience required.
- Marriott experience required.
- Lightspeed experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently overnight with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to balance guest service and audit responsibilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Must have open availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
