Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Dishwasher to join our team at PESTO Italian craft kitchen MV. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of food preparation and cleanliness, contributing to the overall dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed at all times.
- Support banquet services as needed by preparing large quantities of food for events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
