Front Desk Agent – Spark by Hilton San Antonio Airport
Spark by Hilton San Antonio Airport is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-driven Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent plays an important role in creating a welcoming first impression, assisting guests throughout their stay, and helping ensure daily hotel operations run smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and takes pride in providing great customer service. The right candidate should be reliable, professional, positive, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment while representing the Spark by Hilton brand with care.
Pay:
- $13.00–$14.00 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with Hilton PEP is a plus, but not required
- Training with Hilton PEP is available for the right candidate
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to stay calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable answering phones and speaking with guests
- Must be able to follow hotel policies and Hilton brand standards
- Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to work well with housekeeping, maintenance, and management
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Check guests in and out using Hilton PEP
- Verify guest information, reservations, identification, and payment
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, questions, and guest requests
- Recognize Hilton Honors members and follow Hilton brand standards
- Respond to guest concerns professionally and communicate issues to management when needed
- Communicate with housekeeping regarding room status, guest requests, early arrivals, and stayovers
- Communicate maintenance issues and guest concerns through the proper channels
- Process payments, room charges, and incidentals according to hotel policy
- Maintain accurate shift notes, recaps, and communication for the next shift
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and work area clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Assist with service recovery when needed and help create a positive guest experience
- Follow all hotel safety, cash handling, and guest privacy procedures
- Support the team during downtime and help wherever needed to keep the hotel running smoothly
