CDL-A Flex Truck Driver – Touch Freight (Automotive Parts)
Job Summary
We are seeking professional Class A CDL Flex Drivers for a dedicated logistics operation based out of
Valdosta, GA. This versatile role requires flexibility to handle both solo and team routes, with a primary focus on night driving to deliver aftermarket automotive components directly to regional dealerships.

Compensation & Bonuses
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,511
- Guaranteed Solo Weekly Minimum: $1,350
- Average Annual Earnings: $78,599
- Solo Entry Mileage Pay: $0.47 CPM (up to $0.52 max pay)
- New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (Paid in full on your second paycheck)
- Referral Bonus: $3,000 (Paid out in three $1,000 increments at your 2nd paycheck, 60 days, and 120 days)
- Stop Pay: $15.00 for Solo / $8.00 for Teams
- Delay Pay: $18.79 per hour for Solo / $9.27 per hour for Teams
Schedule & Hometime
- Hometime: Team drivers home weekly; Solo drivers home daily.
- Work Week: Monday through Saturday.
- Shift Start Times: Variable night shifts starting between 1730 and 0230.
- Holidays: Home for all major US Holidays.
Lanes & Route Operations
- Hiring Area: Must reside within 50 miles of Valdosta, GA.
- Domicile Yard: Parking based in Valdosta, GA.
- Operating Lanes: Georgia (GA) and Florida (FL).
- Flex Driver Setup: Must run both solo and team configurations (Teaming 90% of the time to fill vacancies, vacations, or sick leave).
- Route Metrics:
- Solo Routes: ~2,300 miles per week, averaging 6 stops per day.
- Shuttle Routes: ~2,600 miles per week, averaging 1 stop per day.
- Team Routes: ~4,000 miles per week, averaging 8 stops per day.
Equipment & Freight
- Tractors: 2020–2022 Freightliner models with Automatic Transmissions.
- Trailers: 48-foot Dry Vans equipped with liftgates.
- Speed Governors: 65 mph pedal and cruise.
- Pre-Pass / EZ Pass: Included in all trucks.
- Freight Type: 100% Touch Freight. Handling automotive components (cages, totes, loose parts like hoods, bumpers, and doors).
- Night Deliveries: Drivers are trusted with keys to unlock dealership gates/doors, unload cargo, scan the new delivery, collect return items, and secure/lock the dealership.
- Policy Constraints: No pets or passengers allowed on this dedicated account.
Job Requirements:

- 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Tight backing maneuvers required at dealerships
- The physical requirement is handling, positioning and securing delivery roller cages and lifting loose boxed parts on the floor and overhead in trailer attic on/off trailer in/out of dealership. Weight lift/handling range 40 -75 lbs
Wage Range: 1200.00 - 1600.00 per week
General Description of Benefits: New Hire Transition Bonus: $500– paid in full on second paycheck
Referral Bonus: $3,000 – Paid out at $1,000 on second paycheck; $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days.
