The role of the Lead Electric Motor Winding Technician is to manufacture high-quality stator/motor winding assemblies for use in a wide variety of high-performance motors and generators.
Responsibilities
- Coil wind, insulate, insert, form, in-process inspect, clean and test stator assemblies according to specifications and schematics.
- Wind coils for stators and rotors per engineering drawings, winding diagrams, and production work instructions.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians on winding procedures, testing methods, and safe work practices.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Experience
- 8+ years of proven experience in electric stator/motor winding
- Ability to read and comprehend assembly drawings and detailed instructions as outlined on production Work Orders.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding of schematics
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies
- Ability to use hand tools, and mechanical and electrical equipment.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
