This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to three (3) days a week, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the direction of the Supervisor I of OFAM’s Policy Development and Compliance Unit, the Analyst II serves as the Fleet Policy and Compliance Analyst responsible for the more varied and complex analytical staff services assignments utilizing email, phone, virtual conference tools, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Fleet Asset Management System (FAMS) database, Geotab telematics database, and data reports produced by OFAM State Metrics, Analytics, Reporting, and Telematics (SMART) team to develop strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure that the state establishes and maintains essential, rightsized, and environmentally sustainable fleet. The Analyst II is also responsible for monitoring and reporting state departments’ compliance with state fleet policies and mandates.
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year.
This position may require travel.
