Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
- Educational Diagnostician Certification through TEA
- Monolingual or bilingual
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment practices
- Must have 2+ years recent experience as a Diagnostician in Texas Public Schools
Contract Details:
- Full Time | School Hours
- Conduct ARDs and evaluations
What You'll Be Doing:
- Administer, score, and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services according to state and federal regulations.
- Receive student referrals and implement the appraisal process
- Take part in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to help interpret assessment data, determine appropriate student placement, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with district procedures.
- Collaborate and consult with the interdisciplinary education team, parents/guardians, and community agencies as needed.
