Quality Assistant Intern – ISO/IEC 17025
A.V.C. Laboratory, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assistant Intern to join our Quality Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or current student interested in quality management systems, laboratory operations, aerospace, and regulatory compliance.
The selected candidate will work directly with our Quality Manager and gain hands-on experience maintaining an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System.
- Review calibration certificates for compliance.
- Maintain quality records and document control.
- Organize and update controlled procedures, forms, and work instructions.
- Assist with internal audits and corrective actions.
- Track nonconformities and follow-up activities.
- Support management reviews and quality metrics.
- Verify technician training records and competency files.
- Assist with customer and accreditation audits.
- Maintain equipment calibration records.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and accreditation requirements.
- Perform general administrative duties related to quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in:

- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
