The FOH Expo is responsible for ensuring food is properly prepared and served to the guest.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manages ticket times and speed of service
- Communicates with line employees to ensure order accuracy
- Returns food made improperly or not to temperature spec
- Pulls bread wrap
- Prepares food (soups, salads, desserts, beverages, wrap pickles, bread, etc.)
- Stocks and sets the expo line throughout the shift
- Prepares trays
- Cooks soups
- Friendly, smiling, takes appropriate action at guest requests
- Supports and promotes company initiatives
Secondary Functions: Cashier, Catering Delivery
Highlighted tasks include:
- Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
- Checks bathrooms
- Busses tables
- Cleaning, mopping and sweeping as assigned
- Takes catering deliveries
Job Specifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent or in pursuit of same
- Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers’ license with insurance (now or when eligible to drive for CBC)
- State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
- Preferably a minimum of 3 months' work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
- Possess strong guest service and communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Computer literate; proficient in use of POS – Point of Sale systems
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
