Regional Rehabilitation Operations Consultant
(Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist)

The MRA Group is seeking an experienced rehabilitation professional to serve as a Regional Rehabilitation Operations Consultant, supporting senior living organizations throughout Texas and Colorado.
This is not a traditional regional management position.
As a trusted advisor and consultant, you will partner directly with executive leadership teams, community administrators, and rehabilitation leaders to strengthen in-house rehabilitation programs through operational consulting, management assistance, workforce development, financial optimization, clinical excellence, and strategic planning.

What You'll Do
As a Regional Rehabilitation Operations Consultant, you will serve as a strategic resource to multiple client communities by:
- Partnering with executive leadership to optimize rehabilitation operations.
- Coaching and mentoring Directors of Rehabilitation and therapy leadership teams.
- Supporting recruitment, retention, onboarding, and workforce development initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and financial performance.
- Analyzing clinical, operational, and financial data to develop actionable recommendations.
- Assisting communities with reimbursement optimization, documentation improvement, caseload development, efficiency management, and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting the development and expansion of outpatient rehabilitation and specialty programs.
- Leading operational assessments and implementation initiatives for in-house rehab teams
- Presenting findings and recommendations to executive leadership teams.
- Building long-term relationships with client communities while serving as a trusted strategic advisor and consultant.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Demonstrated leadership experience within senior living rehabilitation.
- Experience supporting Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Independent Living, and/or Outpatient rehabilitation programs.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, PDPM, Medicare Part B, Managed Care, and outpatient rehabilitation operations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and managerial skills
- A passion for leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
Travel Requirements
This position supports multiple client communities throughout Texas and Colorado.
Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Local, regional and interstate travel as necessary
- Overnight travel as business needs require.
- Travel by automobile and commercial airline.
- Working independently while managing multiple client relationships.
Candidates residing near a major metropolitan airport are preferred.
