Sign Installer
Reports To: Sign Installer will report to the Crew Chief.
Job Overview: Wolverine Sign Works is seeking a Sign Installer to join our small, collaborative team. We are a family-owned and -operated outdoor advertising business with billboards across the Midwest. We are looking for a friendly, hard working individual to become a valuable member of our company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- The primary work environment for this position is outdoors, requiring the ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Installing vinyl faces on billboards
- Help build/repair signs
- Use power/manual tools, must adhere to all safety regulations
- Clearing brush
- Driving a company truck to site locations
- Must be willing to work and get along well with others. Work mostly in 2 man teams.
- Usually Monday-Thursday - 40 hours a week (overtime possible)
- Overnights are required (on average 4-6 days per month) we cover the hotel and give you a per diem
- 90 day probationary period
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Friendly, reliable and professional with good attendance
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds
- Must be able to travel and hold a valid Michigan Driver’s License (required)
- Experience in a construction environment is an asset
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening test
- Ability to receive work instructions and follow tasks
- Comfortable with and ability to work with tall ladders & scaffolds and dig post holes occasionally
- Positive attitude
- Class A CDL preferred

- Construction, Maintenance or Installation Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
