Position Overview
The Data Security Administrator is responsible for safeguarding enterprise data systems and regulating access to sensitive information. This role combines hands-on IT architecture expertise with cybersecurity principles to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data access across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical architecture experience, working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Associate//'s degree in Information Technology or Computer Programming (Bachelor//'s degree preferred)
5–7 years of hands-on IT Architect experience
2–3 years of direct cybersecurity experience
Strong understanding of enterprise system architecture and security design
Disqualifiers:
Ph.D. candidates (overqualified)
Candidates with only Incident Response or GRC-focused backgrounds
