Looking for meaningful, relationship-centered work with youth and families?
The Jacob Center is seeking a dedicated, relationship-driven professional to provide community-based support to youth, families, caregivers, parents, and young adults in Larimer County. This is independent, field-based work—conducted in homes, the community, and our agency space—grounded in Trust Based Relational Intervention® and Positive Youth Development principles. You'll build genuine relationships, support family resilience, and bring your own strengths to the work. Depending on who you're serving, that might look like art, volunteering, outdoor activities, athletics, music, or other youth-centered activities and/or caregiver/parent support. Across all populations, our work creates space for trauma-responsive education, development of regulation skills, and supporting participants' personal growth goals.
This role includes both direct client time and administrative time for documentation, case notes, and coordination—applicants should be comfortable with both aspects of the work.
You'll Thrive Here If You:
- Have a bachelor's degree in related field or 2 years working with youth/families
- Value independence but like collaborating with kind, supportive teammates
- Understand trauma-responsive care (or are eager to learn)
- Have a valid driver license for 2 years and a clean driving record, ability to transport clients in personal vehicle, and can pass background checks
- Preferred: Spanish language proficiency or fluency in another language spoken by the families we serve
Note on Scheduling: Hours are built around your availability, though this role requires availability late afternoons and evenings at least three days per week and at least one weekend day to meet client needs.
What We Offer: A small, collaborative team culture. Flexible PTO. Autonomy in how you manage your work with consistent supervision and development opportunities. And teammates who are competent, kind, and invested in each other's success.
