Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commerial settings
- Support conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical systems installation according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate work execution
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks
- Follow NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance standards and safety procedures at all times
- Help with testing electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and ensuring systems meet NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with residential or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic understanding of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and conduit bending techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and responsibly
- Strong commitment to following electrical safety procedures and safety protocol adherence on job sites
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is a plus
- Construction site experience or related construction background is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be motivated to learn new skills in electrical wiring, blueprint reading, schematics, and NEC compliance
