Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled EMI/Environmental Qualification (EMI/EQT) Test Engineer to support defense system validation in a specialized lab environment. This role is critical to ensuring systems meet stringent performance, compliance, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EMI/EMC testing and environmental qualification within a controlled test setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform EMI/EMC testing in accordance with applicable MIL-STD requirements
- Conduct environmental qualification testing (EQT) including: Vibration, Thermal/Temperature Cycling, Humidity, and Environmental Stress Tests
- Develop detailed test procedures, plans, and documentation
- Analyze test data and generate comprehensive test reports
- Support system-level validation and troubleshooting efforts
- Collaborate closely with integration and test teams to ensure system readiness and compliance
- Maintain and operate specialized lab testing equipment and instrumentation
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Proven hands-on experience with EMI/EMC testing and Environmental qualification testing
- Strong background working in lab-based test environments
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and execute complex test procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with MIL-STD testing protocols (e.g., MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810)
- Exposure to RF systems, electronics, or embedded systems
- Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government programs
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
Pay: $148,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
