Our Savior Lutheran Academy is a Christ-centered early childhood program dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. We are passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and spiritually, and we are looking for caring, dependable educators to join our team. We are currently hiring 3-4 Early Childhood Educators to join our team immediately. This is a great opportunity for individuals who love working with children and want to make a meaningful impact in a positive, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Learn and follow all DHS rules and regulations
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Reflect Christ-like love to students, families, and coworkers
- Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Follow all state licensing guidelines and center policies
- Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, and transitions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with young children preferred (but not required)
- Must be reliable, patient, and team-oriented
- Strong, Christian faith-life and ability/willingness to teach children about Jesus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
