I am looking looking for a part-time Creative Studio Assistant to help with a variety of creative and business tasks. This is a great opportunity for a student or emerging creative looking to gain hands-on experience in a growing creative studio.
No two weeks are the same. Projects may include photography, social media, marketing, research, outreach, studio organization, fabrication, and general creative support.
Ideal Candidate
- Reliable transportation
- Coachable, curious, and eager to learn
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable using Google Workspace
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable switching between creative and administrative tasks
- Interest in photography, design, furniture, sculpture, ceramics, or creative businesses
- Experience creating TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content is highly desired
- Experience filming, editing, and producing engaging social media content is highly preferred
- Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
- Sewing or upholstery experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Assist with photography projects and photo editing
- Film, edit, and publish TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media content
- Help grow social media presence through creative content
- Research potential clients and creative opportunities
- Reach out to architects, builders, interior designers, and businesses regarding photography and creative services
- Organize files, equipment, and studio inventory
- Assist with fabrication, sculpture, ceramics, sewing, upholstery, and other creative projects as needed
- General studio, administrative, and project support
Position Details
- Part-time (8–12 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule
- Mix of in-person and remote work depending on the project
- $18-22/hour depending on experience
