Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a loving and engaging classroom environment that encourages the social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development of our students. This role requires a commitment to integrating Christian teachings into daily lessons and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Lesson plan age appropriate lessons
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Assess and document children's progress and communicate effectively with parents.
- Encourage social skills and positive behavior through modeling and guidance.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school events and activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units.
- A strong personal faith and a commitment to integrating Christian principles into teaching.
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
