A Teacher’s Aide will assist the teacher in a variety of duties that may include but are not limited to:
- Organizing classroom materials
- Making copies
- Preparing materials for art projects
- Collecting and organizing materials for Wednesday’s Brown envelope and any returning correspondence
- Working with students that may need individual help
- Helping in the classroom during instructional periods
- Monitoring students during breaks, library, gym, and computer times
- Accompany class on field trips
- Take care of classroom
At times an aide may be requested to help out in a lunchroom or help with a special project outside of the regular classroom. Kindergarten Preschool aides do supervise and monitor K and PreK lunchroom.

This position has an hourly range of $15.50-$16.50. An employee’s pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
