Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. As a Senior Project Manager, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and utilize advanced construction management software to drive project success. Your expertise in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and project scheduling will be instrumental in delivering outstanding results on time and within scope.
Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Oversee construction estimating processes, including cost analysis and resource allocation, utilizing HeavyBid and other estimation tools.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement activities to maintain project scope and control costs effectively.
- Review schematics, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate interpretation of design intent for on-site implementation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve issues promptly using Civil 3D for site layout planning.
- Utilize construction site experience to anticipate potential challenges and implement solutions that keep projects on track.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress updates.
- Foster strong client relationships through transparent communication, status updates, and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on large-scale projects; minimum of several years in a senior project management role preferred.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6; experience with Bluebeam for document review is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating tools like HeavyBid combined with a solid understanding of contracts and legal considerations.
- Expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and civil site plans using Civil 3D or similar software.
- Familiarity with heavy civil or general construction projects; hands-on construction site experience is essential.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills to coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders.

Pay: $55,097.86 - $85,526.46 per year
