Nurse Practitioner - Part-Time, $105/Hour + Travel Stipend

Location: Sedro-Woolley, Washington
Schedule: Approximately 12 hours per week, generally across two weekdays
Pay: $95 per hour plus weekly travel stipend
Heart-Centered Health is seeking a compassionate, independently licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide part-time medical and wellness services to youth and young adults, ages 16-24, in a supportive, mission-driven setting.
This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, meaningful student interaction, and the opportunity to work alongside an integrated health and wellness team on a beautiful campus near the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.

Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and entrance physical examinations
- Evaluate and treat episodic illness and minor injuries
- Manage medications and established chronic health conditions
- Review laboratory results, screenings, and immunization needs
- Provide referrals for off-site or specialty care
- Develop or approve standing orders, as appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and other healthcare professionals
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in student health records
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Washington State Nurse Practitioner/ARNP license
- Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain the required site-specific registration
- Professional liability insurance, or ability to meet required coverage
- Experience in family medicine, adolescent health, community health, school-based care, occupational health, or a similar setting
- Comfortable working with adolescents and young adults from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to complete credentialing and background screening promptly
Experience serving adolescents, young adults, or socially and economically disadvantaged populations is especially valuable.
