Job Duties/Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for contacting individuals who are delinquent on past due medical bills. You will be responsible for negotiating payments, recording accurate notes, perform skip tracing duties, navigate multiple systems/or screens simultaneously, be privileged to confidential and sensitive data, comply with company and client standard operating procedures, adhere to federal and state rules and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and communication skills, critical thinking skills, ability to work in a fast past environment, speak in a professional and clear phone persona, work independently and resolve consumer accounts by removing stalls and objectives.
Monthly goals, quality assurance and KPI’s will be heavily monitored and enforced. Incentives are based on both production and work quality.
Hours Are: Mon-Fri. 8:00am-5:00pm ET (Eastern Time). Must be flexible based on Department needs. A late nite/flex schedule maybe applicable.
During training candidate must be able to work an alternate schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm PT (Pacific Time) Training is a minimum of 4 weeks. You can not miss any training, it is mandatory for continued employment with IRR.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident Alien with three or more years as a permanent resident in the United States.
2. Must reside in the US or a US Territory.
3. Must use your own equipment, with a windows operating system of 10 or better, 4gb of ram. Internet speed must be a minimum of 100 MPBS (you can test at speedtest.net by ookla) with a strong and stable connection. Power source must also be stable and consistent.
5. Must be accessible via any form of communication during your scheduled work shift.
6. Virtual office must be a separate, secured, and quiet space. It cannot be shared space. You will need to show your virtual office space during the interview process and throughout your tenure at IRR as a condition of your employment.
7. Please be prepared to send 3 pictures of your virtual office space when asked.
8. Previous experience in collections, customer service, or a related field preferred
9. Call Center Experience strongly preferred.
10. Excellent communication and negotiation skills required
11. Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally and empathetically.
12. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
13. Familiarity with collection software and CRM systems is a plus.
14. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
15. Ability to solve problems and de-escalate matters.
16. Intermediate Computer skills to document calls and navigate various
software programs, databases, and internet navigation skills.
17. Proof of ability to work in the US
18. Must be able to speak fluently in both english and spanish.
