Job Summary
We are looking for competent Caregivers to assist our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Help residents take prescribed medication
- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
- Assist residents with showers
- Help residents with physical therapy exercises
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist residents with ambulation and mobility
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Be pleasant and supportive while maintaining appropriate boundaries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Current Utah Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills and sense of urgency
- Punctual-consistently arrive to work on time
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills needed for charting and time clock use
- NOC weekday & NOC weekend shifts are available
- Flexible schedule and good working environment
- Medication administration
- ADL assistance
- Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep/serving, etc.
- Food Handlers permit required after hire
- CNA & BLS certification required
- $18+ D.O.E
