Overview
iTrip Vacations Nashville is seeking an ambitious operations protege to learn the business of professional short-term rental management directly from the owner. You’ll start in day-to-day operations and grow into a leadership role overseeing properties, vendors, and guest/owner experience. This is a paid apprenticeship for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the vacation rental industry, not just a front-desk job.
iTrip Vacations Nashville manages a portfolio of short-term rental properties throughout the Nashville area. We focus on three things: happy property owners, great guest experiences, and strong financial performance. You’ll join a lean, entrepreneurial team where your work is visible, and your ideas can directly impact how we operate and grow.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations for our short-term rentals: Oversee cleanings, inspections, maintenance, and restocking.
- Communicate with guests before, during, and after stays to ensure smooth check-ins, quick resolution of issues, and five-star experiences.
- Help manage property listings on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo: reviewing photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing strategies.
- Assist with owner communication: property updates, performance highlights, and handling questions or concerns professionally.
- Track and help improve key metrics such as occupancy, average daily rate, review scores, and operational efficiency.
- Document processes and create checklists to make operations more consistent, scalable, and training-friendly over time.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
- Strong interest in hospitality, property management, or running small businesses.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with guests, owners, and vendors professionally.
- Tech-comfortable: email, spreadsheets, property management software (training provided), and smartphone-based apps.
- Located in or near Nashville, TN, with reliable transportation for property visits.
Nice-to-have (but not required):
- Experience in hospitality, Airbnb/short-term rentals, customer service, or operations.
- Any leadership or “own the outcome” experience (team lead, shift lead, project owner, etc.).
- Previous supervising experience or leadership roles within hospitality or hotel management environments is preferred
- Strong background in hospitality management, hotel operations, or resort experience will be advantageous
- Familiarity with managing hospitality teams, guest relations, and customer service standards is essential
- Experience with budgeting, revenue management, and financial operations within a hospitality setting is a plus
- Knowledge of front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and night audit procedures will support your success
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage human resources effectively
This role offers an engaging pathway into the vibrant world of short-term rentals with ample opportunities for professional growth. If you’re energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing your leadership capabilities, we want to hear from you!
Growth Path
This role is designed to grow. For the right person, the path can include:
- Business Ownership and/or Partnership.
- Full Operations Manager overseeing day-to-day iTrip Nashville operations.
- Profit Share and 6-Figure income, FAST.
We’ll invest in training you on systems, KPIs, revenue management basics, and owner/guest relations so you can build a career, not just fill a position
