Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care.
- Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Use specialized equipment for carpet cleaning and floor care to restore surfaces to their best condition.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques; ensure trash removal and waste disposal are completed efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Support housekeeping management with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment in excellent condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning methods and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and sanitation tools.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching comfortably.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of laundry procedures and stain removal techniques is a plus.
- Previous experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous but not required. Pay: $15.45 - $15.85 per hour
