Wanted Full Time Wheelchair and Stretcher Driver with 5+ years experience in paratransit (medical transport), who lives in West Palm Beach area AND able to take home commercially lettered medical transport van. These are Wheelchair and Stretcher transports that you will do. Some overtime may be required - evenings (up to 8 pm) and some weekends (Saturday or Sunday). Approximately 40 to 45 hours per week. Also, you must be able to drive your own vehicle to train in West Palm Beach for a week of training.
Company will train BUT experience in PARA TRANSIT W/ STRETCHER EXP is definitely a PLUS. Must have PBC Consumer Affairs Driver's Permit. Looking for caring, responsible individuals with Excellent People and Communication skills. HEAVY LIFTING of up to 250lbs is required.
You will be transporting the ELDERLY (average patient 70-90yrs) and DISABLED to and from doctor’s appointments/facilities, etc in West Palm Beach area. This position requires Empathy, Caring, PATIENCE, Kindness and Understanding of the needs of the elderly/disable with medical conditions.
Salary: $17.00 /hour to start
Drivers License ANY Class Acceptable
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD (MVR) and Excellent English skills A MUST. Must have PBC Driver (Hack) Permit with Consumer Affairs.
