Maganti IT Resources, LLC is looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager position at Waterbury, CT 06702.
Job duties include (but not limited to):
- Develop and drive strategic execution plans for key programs, aligning engineering efforts with broader business goals and Applied Materials' technology vision.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers fostering a culture of technical ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance solutions across Applied Materials software applications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Data to deliver innovative features that elevate both the customer and associate experience.
- Champion best practices across the full engineering lifecycle, including AI/ML enablement, architectural design, code quality, CI/CD, testing, and observability.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables; conduct capacity planning and lead team processes to ensure efficient execution.
- Perform code and architecture reviews, identifying opportunities to improve system design and technical standards.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration for roadmap planning, prioritization, and project execution.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to engineers at all levels.
- Define, track, and communicate team metrics and KPIs to stakeholders and senior leadership with transparency and clarity.
- Proactively identify blockers, risks, and issues implementing optimized processes and escalating appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Contribute to hiring top talent and building the organizational capabilities needed to execute on long-term engineering strategy.
Education required:
- Bachelor degree of Computer Science or related field with 1-2 years of experience
