Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Part Time Child Care Supportive Staff Members to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers and caregivers in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development, including play, learning, and social interactions
- Provide attentive toddler and infant care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout the day
- Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive environment and encouraging appropriate behavior among children
- Aid in supervising children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans when necessary
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive caregiving approach
- Help with light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and hygienic classroom environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Demonstrated ability to work with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong skills in behavior management and creating inclusive environments for all children
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to follow detailed safety guidelines and support caregiving routines effectively

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
