JP Painting Inc. is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Commercial Painting Estimator/Project Manager to join our growing company. We specialize in commercial and industrial painting projects throughout Texas including schools, warehouses, retail, municipal, and tenant finish-out projects.
This position is ideal for someone who is not only strong in estimating and project managing , but also adaptable, organized, and willing to support multiple areas of operations when needed. We are looking for a true team player who can communicate well, manage priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Review plans, specifications, and addenda
- Perform and review quantity takeoffs for painting and drywall finishing scopes
- Prepare proposals, scope clarifications, and pricing breakdowns
- Manage multiple bids and tracking project budgets.
- Coordinate with pre con and field operations after award.
- Assist with project coordination and administrative support when needed
- Communicate professionally with general contractors, vendors, and internal team members
- Track revisions, addenda, and scope changes efficiently
- Support overall company operations with a positive and flexible attitude
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Commercial Painting
- Ability to read architectural drawings and Division 9 specifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Team-player mentality with willingness to help where needed
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Experience with ConstructConnect Takeoff / On-Screen Takeoff preferred
