Kitchen Lead / Experienced Pizza Cook
Pizza Planet is looking for a dependable, experienced kitchen employee who can learn to independently prepare our full menu, including pizzas, pockets, subs, sandwiches, wings, and other food items.
This position is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and can stay organized during busy shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing pizzas, pockets, subs, sandwiches, and other menu items
- Following recipes, portion sizes, and food-safety procedures
- Keeping orders accurate and moving during busy periods
- Completing food prep, restocking, dishes, and kitchen cleaning
- Keeping the kitchen organized and ready for service
- Communicating with coworkers and helping the shift run smoothly
- Eventually being able to run the kitchen station independently
Qualifications:
- Restaurant, pizza, or kitchen experience is strongly preferred
- Dependable and able to arrive on time
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift kitchen supplies
- Willing to clean, prep, and stay productive between orders
- Must be available for some evenings and Fridays or Saturdays
Pay:
$14–$15 per hour plus tips, depending on experience and ability.
Higher pay may be considered once fully trained and able to independently handle the kitchen.
Pizza Planet is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday.
