Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Administrative Assistant to support our Leave Administration team. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment. The successful candidate will manage shared inbox communications, perform data entry, support leave administration processes, and provide administrative assistance to ensure timely and accurate completion of employee leave-related tasks.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage a shared email mailbox, responding to and routing inquiries appropriately.
- Enter Return-to-Work (RTW) information into Workday.
- Send job descriptions to Sedgwick to support leave administration.
- Prepare and distribute ADA accommodation packets.
- Generate and send FMLA exhaustion notification letters.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate employee records.
- Provide administrative support for leave management processes.
- Assist with additional administrative duties based on demonstrated skills and business needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive documentation.
- Communicate professionally with internal employees, managers, and external partners.
- Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree preferred.
* Minimum **5 years of administrative support experience.**
- Previous experience working remotely (Work From Home).
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection (strong Wi-Fi signal).
- Must have a personal laptop or desktop computer suitable for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using **Workday**.
* Experience with **JDX**.
- Previous HR, Leave Administration, ADA, FMLA, or Benefits Administration experience.
