Versatile Fabrication, a small steel fabrication company, has an immediate opening for a full-time, first shift experienced steel production MIG welder. We are looking for a dependable, quality-focused individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a production environment. Employees are paid biweekly.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
- Produce quality welds that meet company specifications.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work as part of a team to meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with production MIG welding on steel is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
